Woman and Child Hospitalized after San Angelo Car Accident at Avenue Q and S. Chadbourne Street

San Angelo, Texas (April 17, 2019) – A woman and a child were hurt in a crash between two vehicles at a San Angelo intersection Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred at the Avenue Q and S. Chadbourne Street intersection.

According to a police report, the driver of a silver Ford F-150 failed to yield at the intersection while turning from eastbound Avenue Q into S. Chadbourne. The Ford was hit on its driver’s side by a Pontiac G-6 that was southbound on S. Chadbourne Street. The impact sent the Ford spinning off the side of the roadway.

The woman driving the Ford and her child sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

There were no other injuries reported.

Police said the Ford driver would receive a citation for failure to yield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
