8-Year-Old Sesinna Kahsay ID’d as Victim of Fort Bend County Accident on Bissonnet and Hodges Bend

Fort Bend County, Texas (June 27, 2019) – 8-year-old Sesinna Kahsay has been identified as the girl who was killed in a hit-and-run accident last week in Fort Bend County, according to a police report.

The incident took place on Friday, June 21, at the intersection of Bissonnet and Hodges Bend.

Police said Angela Smith, 38, ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck Kahsay.

Kahsay was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and she later succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, June 22.

Smith fled the scene after the crash but was later located and taken into custody.

The incident is still under investigation.
