San Marcos, Texas (June 26, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a car on Tuesday morning in San Marcos, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at around 12:38 a.m. June 25, on Aquarena Springs Drive near Thorpe Lane.
Police said the woman was attempting to cross Aquarena Springs Drive near Thorpe Lane. While trying to pass, she turned around to walk back and was struck by a pickup truck.
The woman was severely injured and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
