Patrick Beck and Leah Beck ID’d as Victims of Fatal Arlington Crash on I-20 near South Center Street

Arlington, Texas (June 11, 2019) – Police officers have identified the two people who were killed in a car accident on Thursday night in Arlington as Patrick Beck, 55, and Leah Beck, 23, according to a police report.

The crash was reported at around 11:00 p.m. June 6, on Interstate 20 near the overpass for South Center Street.

Arlington Police Department said Jose Castrol, 29, was traveling east along Interstate 20 when his car drifted onto the shoulder. Castro’s car then collided with a vehicle tucked under the bridge.

The impact of the collision caused the car to crash into a second parked vehicle and all three vehicles caught fire.

Patrick Beck and Leah Beck were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

A third person was taken to City Arlington where she later succumbed to her injuries. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

The crash is under investigation.
