Motorcyclist Killed in Houston Crash on Voss and San Felipe Streets

Houston, Texas (April 17, 2019) – A motorcyclist died after being struck by a vehicle trying to run away from a crash on Monday evening in west Houston.

The collision was reported at about 6:00 p.m. April 16, in the area of Voss and San Felipe streets.

Police said the motorcyclist fled the scene of the crash but was later spotted by a sedan driver who followed her to the Kroger, where the motorcyclist died after the sedan driver ran over her.

The sedan driver stopped at the scene and was given a field sobriety test.

Police said the driver who followed the motorcyclist would be charged with manslaughter.

The crash is still under investigation.
