26-Year-Old Lita Villarreal Seriously Hurt in Victoria Crash on North Main Street

Victoria, Texas (May 15, 2019) – A 26-year-old woman suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Victoria last Thursday afternoon, according to the DPS.

The wreck happened at 4300 North Main Street on Thursday, May 9.

DPS said Blake Coles, 17, of Victoria, was driving northbound on North Main Street when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a car driven by Lita Villarreal, 26, of Victoria.

The impact pushed Villarreal’s vehicle off the roadway and she collided with a car parked along the side.

Villarreal was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro before being airlifted to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio with major injuries including brain injury.

Coles declined medical attention and was cited for failure to stop for a red light and failure to wear a seatbelt.
