One Killed in Fatal Harris County Crash on Gears Road and Crown Park

Harris County, Texas (June 27, 2019) – One person was killed in a fiery traffic crash on Wednesday in Harris County, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision occurred on Wednesday, June 26, at the intersection of Gears Road and Crown Park.

Police said a Centerpoint Energy truck and a silver Ford Mustang were involved in the crash. The Mustang was northbound on Crown Park when it pulled out onto Gears and was T-boned by the truck. The car caught fire after the collision

The driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash is still under investigation.
