Man Critically Hurt in El Paso Train Crash near South El Paso Street

El Paso, Texas (June16, 2019) – A man was hospitalized with major injuries after being hit by a train Sunday morning in South El Paso, according to the authorities.

The crash was reported at about 6:45 a.m. near the 1000 block of South El Paso Street.

Authorities said a man was trying to pass underneath the moving train when he was hit.

The victim was transported to University Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
